China gets 17.5mn in technical aid from Germany

Germany has agreed to provide China with technical aid worth 17.5 million euro, to be applied to the bilateral cooperation in finance, energy and economic structural reform.
The agreement was reached at the 25th meeting of the Peoples Republic of China Government and Federal Republic of Germany Government development and Cooperation Mixed Commission held in Bonn.
Germany has been extending free technical aid to China since 1982.
The total amount has so far reached 0.8 billion euro. Most of it went to 150 projects in professional training, environment, poverty relief, finance, and energy.
