August 14th, 2007

Helping bankers recognise the opportunities in the future of agriculture will be the focus of "Ag Bankers in a Changing World," the American Bankers Association’s National Agricultural Bankers Conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31.

For more than five decades, the ABA has held a national forum for agricultural bankers to provide rare access to industry experts, academics and peers willing to share proven strategies for success in the ever changing world of agricultural banking.

This year’s conference will include discussions about how to find new customers as well as how to best serve existing customers.

Attendees will have access to more than 50 industry experts who will provide the latest tools for making good loans and investing in renewable energy projects as well information on issues such as future agriculture policy decisions and commodity outlook sessions for farm and ranch real estate values, dairy, cattle and grains.

Additional conference sessions include:

·         Emerging Technologies and the Changing Ethanol Industry;
·         Growing Your Next Crop of Customers;
·         Making Good Loans; Credit Analysis for a New Economy;
·         Investing in Renewable Energy Project; and,
·         Winning in today’s four-generational workforce.
