Development of Listing System for Commodity ETFs

The Tokyo Stock Exchange made a resolution regarding “Development of the Listing System for Commodity ETFs (Spot Commodity Investment Type)” (System Outline) at the Board of Directors meeting held on January 29, 2008.
The resolution was adopted to make the adjustments to the listing system necessary for listing ETFs that hold trust assets as commodities and aim to track commodity prices.
This resolution is made as the implementation of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law and the amended Trust Law makes it possible to list the beneficiary certificates of those trusts that issue such as prescribed in the Trust Law.
The new system will be implemented in March, 2008. However, please keep in mind that the details of the system may be changed before implementation
